Apple Pie Brandy

The following recipes are made with our Sweet Apple Pie Brandy. This is like apple pie in a bottle and it makes a great Washington twist on any cocktail. We use local fresh-pressed cider to make the apple brandy base. Then we sweeten it with brown sugar, local honey, cinnamon, cloves and pie spices, plus a cinnamon stick in each bottle for more natural cinnamon flavor.

Washington Old Fashioned
- 1.5 oz. SBS Apple Pie Brandy
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 dashes bitters
- 1 dash sweet vermouth
- Orange peel
-Maraschino cherry

Fill rocks glass w/ice. Pour Apple Pie Brandy, sugar, bitters and sweet vermouth over ice. Stir in glass. Garnish with orange peel and cocktail cherry.

Hot Apple Pie Toddy
- 1 oz. SBS Apple Pie Brandy
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 3 cloves (or 1/4 tsp powdered)
- Cinnamon stick
- Orange slice

Put honey and lemon juice in a warmed mug. Add hot water and stir until the honey has dissolved. Add the Apple Pie Brandy, cloves, and cinnamon stick, then finish with an orange slice.

Cran-Apple Mule
- 1.5 oz. SBS Apple Pie Brandy
- 4 oz. ginger beer
- 2 oz. cranberry juice
- fresh cranberries
- lime

Add ice to a copper mule mug. Add Apple Pie Brandy, ginger beer and top with cranberry juice. Cut the lime in half and squeeze both halves into the drink mixture. Top with a handful of cranberries and garnish with a slice of lime.
